The first reading on a edc16u34

Good morning.
Without sneaking around arrival straight to the point, I've tried to read a passat 2.0 140cv mounting a edc16u34 with the kess v2 arrived at the end of reading the file is not 2Mb but is 1.7 Mb in doubt the problem is with the ecm to see if it recognizes the original file and does not recognize it.. Arrive at the conclusion that the reading went well and I have a doubt; when the screen with the number of writes (in my case 0 ) I have to change something?
