Hello all,
today, I was "studying" the differences between the various maps that I have (starting from the original 159 2.4 JTD 210 HP Q4 365.416 ORI ) specifically comparing the original with the maps, DPF OFF and EGR BLOCK made from Time
well, I noticed that the the second time comparison of the maps with the ECM are changed two values in the map MOD to 1FDFFC and 1FDFFE that originally apply AC B5 02 88
If I open the file with a hex editor that does not alter anything, some of the maps in my possession, tested working on the car (original, mapped egroff dpfoff, only egroff manual) have AC B5 02 88
dpf off and egr off that is made by the time they have AC B5 02 88
The other two maps that I had loaded on the machine (the map sucks with the egr is left active, the map sucks with the egr turned off by a second preparer) have different values in 1FDFFC and 1FDFFE but they work
I thought it was the checksum, but if AC B5 02 88 works, because ECM Titanium try to change it? And, above all, how can it be the same between different files?
Mystery!
If you want to place the maps, but is not influential for the purposes of the response. The question is why ECM Titanium change from just the values in 1FDFFC and 1FDFFE . The sequence to reproduce the strange behavior is this:
0) I Open the ECM Titanium
1) Load the ori
2) Load the mod
3) I Look at the 2D to the addresses 1FDFFC and 1FDFFE , the maps are worth the same (AC B5 02 88)
4) I Close the 2D view
5) From the tools I do "Compare file" and that's in addition to the difference relating to the egr or the dpf jumps out also 1FDFFC and 1FDFFE
6) I go Back to the 2D view and this time the two graphs are different in 1FDFFC and 1FDFFE
Why?
Thanks for the replies![]()
