Hello Leo, I'm sorry, but what do you mean by "where"? The attack on the obd is not the only one? That is, the one next to the fuse box on the inside? In my case I'm talking about a 147 of 2009.

for elm there are 4 types of adapters that are used at the request of the software on the basis of what you need to take in the diagnosis, ecu engine, airbag, abs, body computer, from 2000 onwards, all the connections are obd located in different points of the car, but in your case directly in the body computer

Mainly I would be interested to see the engine parameters, and if possible compare them with reference data of the mother house. Kindly could you tell me the type of adapter? Thanks.

always consider that the elm327 is a tool for beginners see also the fraction of the cost.... if you want to have a good diagnosis you need to entrust to other hardware capable of reading most protocols....

In fact, yesterday evening, looking for these adapters for the elm, I noticed that the one with the "green wire" , were differentiated as well hehe, is that specific to the ecu of the engine. With results like that it offers the network I arrived at the kess v2, but from what I understand it was a clone of the original price is much higher, but muuuuuch more... and you say it is ok to begin to understand something of chiptuning? Thanks.

hello racanacci, prementto who are not expert in chiptuning..what are you going to read multiple protocols? do you mean that it's not okay for all the manufacturers, or that the same car can't do everything that you could via OBD?
    I hope I explained well...

Repeat.......elm is a programming interface for hw match to the sw type MES (if you have a car, the fiat group is enough) to make only diagnosis, then cleared errors in memory see paramemetri in real-time, etc, etc, Instead of interfaces, type Kess or fgtech need in order to read and write l
and the maps in the ecu to work only with their dedicated sw.

Ok, thanks for the clarification...I thought that, for example, kess, could do the diagnosis etc in addition to the reading/writing of the ecu.
You know, the ESM is reliable? that is, the values read are real or unpacked?
    Thanks.
