    Info purchase kess

    Hi all, I am inclined to acquito of a HW and SW for rimappature units, deleting the Dpf and egr. I was offered a kess clone complete (Guaranteed by the seller, that also follows other workshops) with software attached with a course that I have to do to be self-taught with various examples and tests, all with the assistance at my disposal. Do you think more experts should take kess that works in different modes or to move to another type ( wing nut, etc.).

    I have the kess but I it seems to me that it only works in serial if I'm not mistaken.

    Hi guys asked me 400 euro, with kess is possible to work via obd via bdm, what do you advise me?

    The kess is only OBD and Tricore or Boot. No BDM or JTAG.
    Careful that in turn sell kess v2 400€ and then are the same ones that buy in china to 140€

    Boot is used on the ecu on which it is not possible to perform a read from the serial generally and then make the release
    Tricore is generally used on bosch EDC17 and ME17 with cpu infineon, usa usually 1 wire boot, and 1 or 2 resistors on the ecu
    j-tag is used to read microcrontrollori as the marelli 8df-8f2-8f3 - and dense
    All very generalised rule of thumb
