    oil 2.0 tdi

After a nice mapping on a golf 5 2.0 tdi, what kind of oil would be more suitable? I now have a long life 0w30, but I thought that a 5w40 could be better, since the oil may be more often at high temperatures and may lose some of the lubricating power.

To the limit put a 0w40,so cold you always have the same viscosity, the eye to the specifications,if not then start to tichettare,,,

do not want to contradict anyone, but the number supported by the W means winter, cold crank viscosity and the viscosity at cold ,while the second type 40 is the hot viscosity calculated at 100° in this case 0W will be cold and 40 hot.....some brands also give the crank viscosity at 40° over that at 100°, the bottom is the W and primal'oil will create the thread in the molecular,,,,but attention always to the manufacturer's specifications,as it is necessary to also take account of the tolerances of the various accoppianti internal engine, and not to have problems with the hydraulic tappets, etc...

Just put 5W30 or 5W40 oil, followed by VW norm.
Everything works fine on my car.
