    Doubt checksum

Hello to all the forum, I would like to ask a question...

Finally, I have the file ori for my Grande Punto 1.3 multijet 90cv, so you can start studying for well also these hateful Marelli...
(it's the first that I'm going to write)
In the meantime, I started closing the egr, also because it begins to give me problems, but I noticed that Titanium does not recalculate the checksum.
In fact, the selection of the file ori I highlighted only reading BDM (28) and KESS (82)...

    My doubt is...:
    - it is necessary in some way to make it calculate to Titanium before write via OBD?
    or...
    - I try to write it anyway via the OBD (I have a KessV2 clone) as the same interface ricalcolera' the checksum?

according to me go via obd only if you have all the full backup of your ecu. if the kess is abandoning you in the process of writing you will have a nice problem to solve. if you already have all the backup then write, and if you block the reset by writing the complete file from bdm

for the checksum, the kess should calculate it before writing it without problems

Then... will update on the situation...

To recap, my problem is that on the Titanium I have the driver for this ECU but not his family checksum, in fact, does not make the calculation nor on the file ori... I Believed that kess the correct automatically during the writing, but instead nothing...

This morning I tried the writing on the CAN and it worked fine, but the machine does not put in motion... after having rewritten the ori, however, was ok... I assume that the problem is the checksum is also why the kess asked me autocorrect!

According to you, how could I solve this big scab?
How do I calculate the checksum, I read that some correct it with winols...

I hope in your help because even if I write it as I study it!!!

I begin to hate those of Marelli!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

...I had come the doubt that the problem was that the file I was working on was obtained from a reading BDM... but if it were so it would not work, not even the ori...

Uhffa... how do I calcolarmi this checksum... do I have to somehow find the family for the Titanium....?

If I want to use a tool such as Checksum Calculator, it is feasible? They work for my purpose...?
