    Failure of power steering electric

Good evening to all,I open this discussion, not having found another gi? treating this topic.
It is the power steering electric, occasionally do the tantrums, hardening of the blow and offering a higher resistance than the steering is not power assisted when there? happens you switch off and turn on the car and the defect disappears for a p?.The solution offered by mechanics and electricians in general? to replace the whole entire power steering unit, with a regenerated(at least Fiat),but had called to tell me here and I saw that there are companies that are involved only on the electronic component that actually does not work,e.g. sensor, steering angle,etc...... ,saving you a nice p?.Someone of you has experience about it?
    Thanks.

most of the times are the micro-rel? the electric motor (I speak of fiat), but also the torque sensors often break in that case, however, it feels kind of like a
    vibration under the hands

Thank you for the responses,I have to say that my Great Point that goes for seven years,I get very sporadically this error, luck, spend months in a hurry,so I don't worry about pi? so,for? I started to become interested in the topic. When the fault occurs to me is always from a standstill or almost, and I feel the steering wheel turn slightly, like when you hover over a hole.

Hello usually you break the torque sensor, the rel? they were mounted on the older models do not ? your case.
However, from the time of diagnosis, and see if the sensor or the other of these cars and very important to the battery voltage drops can affect many components such as the torque sensor.
Entrusted to a workshop mechatronics them you will be? only replaced the faulty component with cost more? content.
Avoid the do-it-t? an incorrect installation can? compromising the reliability? of the steering wheel.
After the replacement of the torque sensor must be made in the new calibration.

If your problem ? as you told, you have to do only one thing off the pins of the control unit sites and buy the spray for contacts silicone spruzzalo on the contacts of the control unit sites and contact wires, a good splash, hold it after it is mounted for about 3 hours and the problem ? resolved, don't get ripped off money, with diagnosis and replacement of any parts.

Thanks again for the responses,I have to say that I thought of, too, to drop the voltage of the battery, due to the fact that I use the car for short journeys,I work 2 miles from home;taking into account that the car ? a 1.9 engine, that you use in the winter more? frequently electrical utilities, there is the battery every so often fag a p?.
Now then on to the batteries are held in their own right,(except when c'? start&stop),on my there was originally a 60 ah,that I then replaced with a 62 ah,that has a hair more? inrush.
