    mercedes r class 320 cdi dpf off and white smoke

    hello guys I have a problem with this car, basically they have deleted the dpf but the car especially at idle it emits a lot of white smoke especially at idle, and stinks of diesel fuel, the unburned...
    now I read the ecu is the titanium does not recognize the file ori thinking that obviously the file had been defappato by others before me, I understood that the problem of non-recognition of the file is the one of course, even if that owner is not involved in the ecu have simply deleted the the dpf but leaving all the dedicated sensors, however I managed to find some addresses to switch off and correct the checksum in writing with the interface but nothing is in the car continues to smoke white, even if it seems that a real regeneration, not the face, because by controlling the ****llo of the oil seems to be stable...
    I would like if possible to have a help and confirm if I'm acting in the correct manner,I know that this ecu has several switchoff for the dpf, in addition to having a feedback control is per kilometre as a function of the "soot" dpf, I believe that the problems are right there, i.e. in spite of, or probably the switch off are ok(I hope to confirm) I think it's still in regen just for a speech related to what was written before..
    I am attaching the file ori here because in the database there is a section for the R-class, the car is a my'09 R320cdi 224cv dpf..

    hello munro....forgive me but and a bit incomprehensible your problem as you have explained, or rather I have found it very difficult to understand, not to technical issues.

    If you think you remains in regeneration, as much as I find this very strange, I have messed around on the ecu, or the problem of white smoke and something else and not necessarily you have to have DTC present.

    if you are an expert as I think I understand, certainly more than me, you know that there is a mechanical defect for how much electronics there can be it is said that there is a dtc for a fault.

    having said this, according to me, the first thing to do is to put the fap, to bring to the state the original ecu with a file ori seriously, and if everything is fine at this point to remove the fap.

    According to me you have embarked on a scab, you have a machine that does not defappata from you, a messed-up without knowing what you have combined and according to me, the only way to learn **** and bring it back to its original state, see if there are problems, and if you smoke again,and then remove the fap and various crap.

    and likely, but it would be preferable to restore it to original state, see if he does it again and possibly repair it, but from what has been said it seems that they have messed with the map and it is even possible that the erg remains open.

    a case very similar happened to me the first month on a audi A3.

    In substance, they have done evil, to the distribution, and the car was not 3 but almost 4, in short, limping, unable to walk etc.....the dog that made it had deleted the dtc then in diagnosis not noted anything.
    Reported to the state from the original are skipped out of an endless list of DTC!......

    It would be a symptom of the egr is dirty ... go to the various controls in the engine I nn seems to matter.file pero try it.the same. to put.ori

    Still no..for the moment they're checking the injectors we suspect may be..
    The strange thing is that the owner of the vehicle said that the ecu did nothing but read the file the same is not ori not having the file ori, which I found is posted in the second time, I made the switch listed quickly and without control, I've rewritten the file, but nothing has changed. Now the Mustang has it right with the speech to put the file ori but my request was if possible if someone who has already defappato this car can confirm if they are on the right path for the switch off

    hello munro in our workshop happened to a similar case to this with a vehicle that is different, and as it says in carfreee in the end it was the volvola EGR is dirty as well as the owner had said that it had not been touched anything in the ecu, but reading the files was mod and with a mod a bit incorrect.
    I hope you don't leave the crazy to solve as soon as possible

    The egr on the first file read was not closed then when I wrote the file with the switches listed in the off, logically, I closed the egr properly..
    The fact is that the file Mercedes are sometimes different from one another even on the same model of car I've amone A class, for example, that by eliminating the fap in a way done on another class on the first car the system does not work well.
    So my doubt is if I'm excluding the FAP in the correct way or not by using the addresses posted.
    The injectors are still pompista because there were a couple of actuators piezo electric that is not working properly, but the pompista says that probably the problem of smoking does not depend on what we'll see when they comeback..

    often I tend to refuse to work with rogne,not because they want to make them in fact the exact opposite.

    and the fact that we lose so much time to put away the mess of the others that when it comes out of the account or not pay you, or you don't.

    I just hope that it is only in my part as well......

    I use the policy of the return as it was.

    I happened on a croma 1.9.,not the defappata well....the restored to the origins and postponed the work....

    too often we make a mess and you give up the customers as well...

    and as if the port on the tv to a repair why not tune in to channels and I get off!.....

    watch matthew unfortunately the file in my possession is not ori but the car is a mercedes e-class R320 cdi 2009 224cv with edc16cp31 from the analysis of the hexdump I was able to go back to the only number sw 1037 39 2645 place the sum total of the checksum maybe it can be useful in the identification of the file ori. the cks is 9980 145E) 16-bit
