is already a bit' that I do not write on the forum,
but I come back to the office since I have bought finally a
machine rimappabile.
Therefore, given that this would be my first remapping
I would like to in the meantime, figure out how you structured the original map (to understand what are the curves ES: diesel fuel, advance, etc) and
to better understand where to take action.
The first things that I wanted to make was the elimination of the DPF and closing of the EGR.
Let's start with the particulars of the car and ECU:

I've taken the map with KESS V2 via OBD (from the research I had to select the Range Rover Sport that the only difference besides the body is the excursion of the air suspension not related to the engine control unit and automatic gearbox);
during the operation of extrapolation of the file you are presented with 2 errors:
"failure of automatic transmission gears limited" and "HDC not available",
the HDC is a system for the facility on streets with a lot of steep.
The operation however was successful with the reactivation and cancellation of the errors described above
in a fully automated manner, in fact the machine is started and all went perfectly without my having done anything.
The file extracted, with a total weight of 2048 Kb, the I saved them (as well as the extension ".ori";
the KESS V2 is not allowed to give him the extension automatically through the appropriate drop-down hide-away.
At this point I tried to put the file in ECM Titanium V. 1.61 and automatically went to search for the drivers
most suitable, giving me 3 results, all marked yellow (obsolete Driver).
Reading on the forum, most users should not use the drivers for reasons more or less different and/or valid,
so I skipped the choice of drivers and I started looking at the map, which is displayed in hexadecimal that in 2D, the display mode I set to 16bit Motorola(I hope it is correct this configuration), but unfortunately my lack of experience I has made it possible to recognize
what were all those curves (looking for the DPF and the EGR) so I closed the ECM and I have tried it with 2 programs, "the most automatic":
- VOLTA SENSOR DECODING
- ECU SAFE 2.0
The first one I used was the ECU SAFE but I do not recognized the file and allowed me to modify it in any way.
Instead, TIME has recognized the file and was able to remove (I assume) the DPF, but before you try to put the modified file I wanted to be sure
the new map was coded well (CKS etc) and had removed the DPF (I read that in order to completely remove the DPF must be removed and more things
as the postiniezione, the map of the DPF and other small things).
I tried to put the new file back in the ECM as the original file to see if it had changed something, and surprise in the automatic search of the driver instead of me
the usual 3 outdated drivers gave nothing, and this thing has made me quite uncertain.
I attach an archive with the original File and modified with time.
I would like to know your and help me in the event to remove both DPF that the EGR manually
and then go on to give a few Hp and NM in this car.

PS: the extension .ori and .mods are only to identify in a standard way which is the original map and that changed right? I could also put a different extension that I understand it just me? Type:
.OEM for the original and .EDIT for the change?
P. S. 2: it is normal for the most part of the map (displayed in HEX) to give me as a value FF, or full? because if I had not seen evil a map of an audi A3 TDI for the most part it was full of curves, from the beginning of the map. explanations?
Dear lover you're playing with a car is very delicate, this version of the ecu file, should be worked by hand to eliminate the display of the notification of the fap after a few km, the other delicate, and the tool that you will use for the calculation of the cecksum, I strongly recommend you do not start with this ecu, study a lot and practise with the ecu + simple, throws it in the drawer here 2 pseudo sw.............

I'll give you a reason, especially for me; however not think to put me to do
of the changes and put the new mapping, without which no one has supervised,
I would be a fool, then before going to tap the real mapping I wanted to in the meantime
familiarize yourself with the Software and with the mapping if for if.
With regard to the questions that I posted:
- The mode of visualisation I have done well has put Motorola 16Bit?
Surely the view will depend on what one wants to do, but reading a Topic in this forum
a user to view if the DPF was On or Off instead of 16bit has put in 8-bits. Reading the official guide to ECM
the only difference is in the values much more accurate, can someone explain what really changed between the visulizzazioni?
In the meantime, I would like to start trying to understand the parameters set in the ECM to show the correct map on the basis of need.
P.S.: I Definitely suggest to use WinOLS, but not having the DAMOS, and even the software, but having tried the TRIAL, in my opinion is too little intuitive
on the contrary, perhaps, ECM Titanium and I always believe that to find the usual maps, just search and you'll find them in both Software, me denials? if you why?

In the file attached there are 2 files .mod one in which I did the mapping
and deleted DPF and EGR but the other only deleted the DPF, however with Time.
