The purpose of the egr ? use part of the exhaust and put it back in the cylinders with the aim? to reduce the formation of oxides of nitrogen by lowering the combustion temperatures. That to my knowledge during the revision is checked the opacity? of the fumes, so I guess that does not control the amount? of nitrogen oxides present in the exhaust gas, but their opacity? so it should not affect the pi? so. According to me the problem arises when in the map you can vary the amount? diesel fuel is injected and this ? too much in proportion to the oxygen generating black smoke, of course I'm not talking about dark clouds from the tube to the exhaust but the things not seen with the eye but with the analysis tool.

also as far as I know I only look at the fumosit?, then with the egr plugged ? even better why? smoke less
c'? also to say that the regime to which they test the egr, however, should not work more? or at least
if you do not exaggerate with the diesel, if we include the fact that the car ? in neutral, there should be no problems

It passes quietly enough that the car does not smoke. If the map ? well done. The control of exhaust gases passes without any problem. Why? as said do the opacimeter and do not assess other values.

I asked the guy of the review, he said that the NOx controls them, for? the limit ? the most high, and I can hardly reach it. With regard to the fumosit? if ? little (my golf from the original just a little smoke) the pass safely, just that it is not a chimney.

in revision is checked, the particles and according to the limits of the manufacturer are imposed on the parameters ? obvious that the limits are in wide margin for?........... I'd watch it! and not only to the review if you get caught without the dpf or fap in addition to the fine you go to meet even the criminal........ this is not to say that they are favourable to the dpf or fap, who apparently pollute less the environment(see), but they are harmful to us as if it remains in pm10 we can still expel it with a cough seen that remain in the upper part of our respiratory system, but if it turns into pm1, we are screwed!!!

I was on my Egr excluded, but the original map I saw the values on the screen of the probe, and I was well under the limit, warms well the machine before you take it to the review.
