I think that the mini version has not led to the view, but the mountains led smd integrated inside..my version of the mini (carcass with white label orange/blue) lights up when connected.
On the functionality? I'm not complaining, both the pc and the phone does its job (of course, advanced features such as airbag reset etc..she does not) and still doesn't it ? burnt despite being constantly connected to the port auto diagnosis by the pi? of six months.
I put a switch,I would not like I dropped the car battery

If you use the car every day nothing happens why? at the end of the absorption ? minimum; vice versa, you have done well to interpose a switch.
I had a jeep grand cherokee and the bt(chinese) ? stayed on for two weeks and I have killed the battery.
I also left attached for several days on a bmw 320d no mange.

According to me, the greater danger ? that burns the connector bt
All tested, after a week with the elm connected without the use of the machine I was on foot, if you can use the switch or unplug the adapter
