    We do not say heresies.
On all of the common rail engine (not just fiat) the pressure regulator ? indispensable, so you can find it mounted in another position, but it must be there for strength. Some of the mountain on the rail of the injectors, while the other mountain on the pump, common rail, to the difference of the pressure sensor, which is almost always ? on the flute.

For example, we can verify on the 1.3 MJ that are very popular, the 70 and 75 have everything on the flute, while the 90 keeps it mounted on the common rail pump, having the same pi? great.

On the 159, in particular, the first versions to 16V have the regulator on the pump, while the later versions, and the twins opel mount the regulator on the rail of the rail. So if you want to take away the doubt, look on the back of the engine, between the pump and the manifold, and you will see the regulator of your car, attached with three screws to the pump HP.

If the diagnosis can't test it probably did wrong to select the type of car, and being different maybe for just what you can not.
