already in a few words, it bypasses the password to access the protocol,so if you lock your ecu immediately after that has been erased the flash,or it corrupts the e2p ,most of the times it fails to resume from the serial,and then it takes the bootmode..or a partial or total on the e2p,this in most cases, edc15 and edc16.
if the boot mode is not able to set it goes bdm in edc16 and programmer in the edc15 right?
