    Programming PLCC32 Volkswagen

    good morning
I had already asked for info with the discussion in section the equipment to program the ECU, but I have seen it a few visits and no answer. Sorry (who has already read it) if I insist but.......

I can not write correctly the 2 PLCC32 ECU BOSCH for my car. I read the original files in the united states with the ECM, changed the map, made the checksum regularly, split the file in 2 8-bit and when I go to re-write it with programmer TL866, the writing takes place regularly but the car is not starting.
I was told that the file must be cut before programming the AM29F010B but I don't know how to do it. In practice, the program would fill the empty space of the chip over the 128 kb of the map.
I think it's set on the programmer, but I have no idea of the procedure.
    It's so ?
    Who can help me?

girramas on the two PLCC32 what ce written exactly?
you are certain they are of the AM29F010B? series montana of the 27C010..
however, in both cases they say that they are limited in the scriptures 2-3 max AM29F010B, 1-2 max 27C010..

Are AM29F010B on which they had written already the map. I remember that the first time the car wouldn't start and the mapper said to me that during programming, the device default wrote more data than necessary. Then the chips are OK, and I know that they are programmable, at least 500 times.
I think that in the settings of the programming I have to specify the address of the beginning and the end of the writing .... or something like that. Unfortunately, the TL866 is not very widespread, and in specific guides, I can not find. Being safe on the calculation of the checksum and mindful of what he told me this later ,now many years ago, I believe that the problem is precisely the one referred to above,.... but no one seems to know anything.

Have you noticed at the beginning and at the end of the file those mod?
try to put them ori, and make sure that after you write it to keep..

I had not noticed this. At the beginning there are no differences, only in the bottom of the last bits that change according to how do I change the previous zones, whatever. It would seem the area to checksum, which moves at the rate of only one bit. I tried putting the modified zone in the ORI but not change it .I looked at a map of a Golf with the same engine but Euro 3 with ECU EDC15 accessible from the OBD and does not have this feature. Also two PLCC32 a Golf engine EGR 98 , if I change nothing happens. How is it then that the map of the new beetle reacts so? CINQUETURBO, do you think, is this the problem? Solution?

Discussion closed, it was the CATALOG that the ECM I do not count exactly, maybe because comparing file ORI corrupted. I re-read again ORI, as amended, and the verification of the Checksum was performed on two areas instead of one as previously.

I no longer have this ECU, however I had solved it, it was a checksum problem.
I don't have the ECU of the discussion.
