    clone edc16c39 delta 1.6 mjt

hi everyone, owner of a lancia delta 1.6 mjt with exchange selectronic and I would like to clonarmi the ecu to be able to play a little without the worry of damage...the ecu is edc16c39-6.6 D and hw 0281014570,now I was wondering if it was possible to use another edc16c39 in my possession. It is, however, to the accuracy of a edc16c39-5.65 with hw 0281012961 a croma 1.9 mjt 120 hp...I was wondering if you could do it is if there are differences as well, as mine is with automated manual transmission, while the eighth note no.There are differences in hardware between robotized gearbox and is not or is only the software that is the difference?

for the automated manual transmission does not have differences hw in the ecu, I can not say if the colour goes well in your, you can try to put your backup in and see if it starts and there are no problems, damage does not do the maximum must not be in motion.

guys I have made recently with the cloning but it is not successful, the car is not starting...it was to be expected, however, I was wondering one thing:when I rewrote the whole backup of my ecu to that of the croma told me the software that it is not possible to correct the checksum on entire files so I clicked ok and I went without to correct it.From the moment that I have copied a full backup, I thought that there was no need to correct it because I have not changed anything right?the checksum is correct only when you edit the map?or had to correct in this case?

No sportnight the reference number of the hw is different it was a test as much for, only that I was born in the doubt about the checksum.

in reality, the problem does not arise because when you extract a FULL backup from the ecu the file already has the checksum calculated for each file, you anyway, when you have to change the maps, read and write the flash(or micro if the maps are in the micro)and for that file the programmer will calculate the checksum of the eprom does not need to checksum it(except on edc17)
