    Purchase Interface

    Hello to all!

    I came to the decision to finally take the cables to communicate with the ECU for? re-reading after some time of idle?

    there have been changes.

    Therefore, I state that I would do my tests on a Punto 1.3 MJT from 75hp 2008 (HW and SW at the time unknown)?

    my intent ? then be able to work on all of the ECU.

    I was convinced to take a MPPS V13 (even now I feel that ? the output V18) or the Galletto 1260 (but for now, they all say that ? from store

    why? many problems), alternatives?

    Another factor to consider ? that, for the moment, I'm still not convinced of the read/write BDM, in the sense that I don't know how it works yet,

    then I would do what is pi? simple: the cable works in a serial (and then MPPS if I'm not mistaken), software to remap (ECM winOLS or other) and rewrite with the usual interface.

    The problem lies in the fact that I'm scared of the block, why? maybe the interface is not ? fit to the vehicle.

    PS: my intent ? buy less cables as possible (do not take duplicates or cables obsolete or non-functioning).

    the experience, as you said yourself, you do it by reading, and rightly so, but I want to now throw me with the practice senn? will not go? pi? of much next.
    With regard to the reading and writing then I can't do it with the MPPS? I have to buy the cock V54 with its template and schedule? in addition, with the v54
    I would do pretty much the most of the car? thanks.

    With the v54 just a serial port. Virtual read, and the file of 2 Mb, and always write by obd. The fa well as the v50.
