Deleting the EGR VW Polo 1.9 TDI EDC15P

Should I disable the EGR on a VW Polo 1.9 TDI 101cv, ECU EDC15P.
I pulled a straight line on the "serration" on the map phase, place 1/2 and 2/2 (related, I think).
Can someone tell me the pu? say if ? ok the mod? Then before writing I need to calculate the checksum given that the MPPS does not automatically on this ECU.

In fact, you have done more? correct I know, what? going to disable the management EGR, as you do with the EDC16 always VAG. In the way done by me c'? pi? risk to turn on the light engine maybe....

Then both methods on the edc15 are valid, one alternative to another, right? Maybe if you zeroing in hex should be fine even with the egr route...has anyone ever tried it?

Probably the EDC15 are not so? "demanding" compared to a EDC16, and do not create problems even with the first method, even why? I know that they are only Euro3.
For? as I have already? that said, I think that the second method is the best.
One thing: before writing on this ecu goes correct the checksum. From what I understand the Ecm Titanium corrects it automatically when you go to edit and save the file, provided that you load the driver. Then after you have saved the modified file, you have to do is write it? The checksum ? gi? corrected automatically by the Ecm?

See if this is for you:

    edc15p.jpg

The ECM calculates the checksum only if you have the driver loaded, or select the family checksum suitable to the ecu (if enabled) when you save the file.

    Greetings!!!

Thanks a lot, this ? the first method that I have used practically, that which excludes the operation of the EGR, but leaves the active controls.
For the checksum, then having the driver loaded me it is calculated automatically when I save the mod file. I understood well?

Yes, but don't trust it, it depends if the person who completed the driver has not entered the family of the checksum, you calculate, and anyway, ECM titanium, it should tell you at the time of saving that the checksum is not ? been corrected, and we will guide you to correct it.

Then, ill go, various serial interfaces, correct the checksum before writing (on most cars), then you have a security in ir?.

you have to be careful in any case, do not rely blindly on to the software ;D

To write to use MPPS, and on this ecu are 100% sure that the checksum is not calculated.
