    the control unit IAW59f.m7

    Hi to all guys accept advice on how to repair this blessed unit which is subject by the cursed problem when you turn the engine on 3 cylinders. Someone of you has already? performed this type of surgery?

    I should have some photos of a m3 with the repair made, to? I don't know if the rules and regulations are authorized, even the first time I opened one I damaged in a hurry why? I drilled the rivets.

    those ECU have a fault in the handling of the coils, the circuit ? under sized compared to the absorption required by the ignition ? it often skips the track of the PCB that the pi loop? weak... other times, especially if it concerns the hardware changed of the series (with bridge reinforcement) in this case, often part of the power transistor. it is a Mosfet N-channel... in any case you can? check the integrity? with a multimeter once you have disassembled the ECU. in the meantime, the council pi? trivial that I can give ? to check the continuity? between source and GND (center wire mosfet). if isolated redo the track ? that burned it.. to do it again, you need to have welder suitable, temperature-controlled, works with temperature not higher than 300?, I recommend you must have very steady hand and quickness? in the run! if you overheat, deteriorate and burn the track irreparably damaged then you have to throw the ecu.
