Edc 17 antituning.

Hi, I have done up to now only edc 16 and having to buy a tool to make the most recent ecu's, I came across a kess that does boot and tricore. Now I know that the antituning be unlocked by bdm, but I have a question, you can still write to the boot? And if something goes wrong, reading the boot can be used to retrieve it in the bdm? Surely there are already a few posts on the forum but I have not found a clear answer.

the EDC16 you read and write from serial port & BDM
the EDC17 read and write from serial port & Boot Mode Tricore
in any case, BDM & Boot Mode Tricore are reading Backup..
