    Loss of engine oil Stilo 1.9 MJT
    Hi all, I have a Fiat Stilo 1.9 MJT, several months f?, after having had problems with the EGR valve 2 times, I decided to close it mechanically, now about 6 months away, I noticed a p? of sweat and oil, which seems to be abundant in the long run, it seems to leak near the cap that I created to close the EGR valve; I Would like to know: ? possible that it was the closing of the valve to cause these problems? I would also like to point out that ulltimamente the turbine whistles a p? pi? of usually.

    ? right to the point of closing the EGR valve, as in the picture?

    how could I solve it?

    Will definitely not happen, or not ? been a good lubrication of the turbine and the closing of the valve, nothing to do with it in my opinion

    how do I check for proper lubrication?
    actually the turbine at low rpm f? a lot more boos than usual!

    Oil selenia 15/40, the turbine has about 200,000 km, the bar is not li s?, I could see them in the diagnosis?
    But not ? never been remapped

    Hello dear...let it go what we have written so far...I do not want other users,,,
    What you see, ? a vent to the air/oil coming from the pressure hose, the plastic ? screwed with pins hexagonal to the intake manifold...the tube, at the entrance to an o-ring seal...with the time, the miles and the heat, the plastic tube is ovalizza and the seal becomes precarious.
    Now, you can fix it by disassembling the pipe, cleaning everything up and sealing it with pasta sealant for engines...but I will not be? a lasting solution...after a p? will begin to lose again (3 - 4 months)...I to my stylus, I preferred remedy cos?...xk? the plastic tube, in fiat cost around 80€...
    Not ? significant closing of the egr, the wear and tear of the turbine...in any engine td c'? always trasudo oil..that km ? also normal...
    PS...I advise you to change the oil...15/40 is absolutely not good...it takes a 5/40w as prescribed by FIAT

    I confirm the diagnosis of mariodarkblue. However, in the warehouses of the FIAT the O-RING indicted the damage as spare try to replace it. For the whistle of the turbo ? the et? until it works leave it. The oil ? very important,use the 5/40

    Yes, the o-ring that is sold in fiat...but not solve practically almost nothing...xk? the joke is that ? in plastic, with the time you ovalizza, so you want to screw the pins that attach the hose to the intake manifold..but can't you tighten to seal "watertight"...
    I can recommend before doing an oil change and a flush to the engine, so as to eliminate the sludge that you will be trained...

    As I have said to the whistle excessive turbine if it is going to, for the oil if you put on a 5/30 ? even better
