    Automatic changes in the ECM

    Hello all,

I hope you can help me even why? who knows a little bit there takes? very little about it.

I have to say that I am only interested in the processing of my car, an Alfa romeo Brera 2.0 jtdm 170cv.
After a long time that I thought about it and after many readings and study about it, I believed I was ready for the changes.

The first step ? closing the EGR, which is rather simple (it would seem) on the edc16c39 of my car.

Immediately a problem: I go to edit the map ori just read with mpps and I'm going to lower the 2 "panettone" related to the EGR. So far everything is ok.
Comparing to? the modified file with the original, I noticed that the ECM automatically goes to modificarmi of the bit towards the end of the map!!!
I tried pi? times and the result ? always the same: the ECM is running in auto-corrections on the map!!!

    And is it normal??
I thought it was the checksum correction but finding in the network the file of my same car ori and mod (only with the closure of the EGR as I want to do) well known that this difference between the 2 files that the ECM generates automatically c'?!

I kindly ask you a hand!

    Sauro

Thanks a lot this was the answer I was expecting, and I was hoping, but I needed confirmation! In fact, I did the test without the use of the driver and actually is not made the correction.

Then I write about quiet! My first time....

    Thanks again!
