    Experience on replacing the ecu with different hardware

    Hello all,in this post I would like to share the experiences with regard to the installation,or, better, replace the ecu with a different number of HW,as a result of breakage of the original. May serve as an indication to someone in the same problem.
    The experience that I had personally ? was on a Peugeot 407 with bosch edc16c34,as a result of a problem caused in bdm by a friend of mine,I mounted a ecu with different HW,replacing the e2prom from one to the other and loaded the original software full bed in the bdm,the everything ? went very smoothly.
    Anyone who has had similar experiences in the places the propria.saluti

    a similar thing ? it happened to me.... in a workshop, they burned a edc16c34 a 207, l' have cloned on an ecu with slightly different hw.... it seems to me from the 529 ori to 526 and the air conditioning was not working.....

    I changed also 2 ecu of a touareg 5.0 tdi v10 with different hardware, but always cloned the ori and everything ? went smooth as oil

    I have made the case only when they are only the last 3 digits to the change in 90% of cases.

    I think that the problem is not ? only to the machine but must go all when you do this mod you have a question you can? always miss something that should not be then in these cases to play the luck.....

    Hello all,
    but if I have a unit burned down, reading it in the bdm, I can read it easily?
    so you can rewrite all the content on another ecu?
    I understood well?

    you need a file that is read in the bdm from another, or a unit that is equal to that.........

    I'm on a x trail ecu delco version dpf, I put in the bike safely without fault is not with another delco completely different hw and sw for? not attacking the fans!! I could also leave it so and give an external system to rel?, but I preferred not to do zoze!
