    Kess V2 error "Error Alarm"

    Hi to all,
I have to say I'm beginner on the subject, I bought a Kess V2 2.10 FW 3.099 and I tried to read the ecu of my motorcycle, a Moto Guzzi Norge 1200.

I also connected a regulated power supply, during operation, the voltage was about 13.5 volts.

The Kess works, flashes the green led also, but then at the end gives me the error "Error Alarm"

I have cleared the errors in the ecu with Kess and told me that the operation was successful. I don't actually know if it is so....

I ask you kindly enlightenment hoping to be able to solve the problem.

Hello, error alarm because it does not identify the ecu of your bike, it is perhaps the case to check the connections or have problems with the tool in kline.........

I checked the connections, but everything seems to be ok. I also tried with another cable, an adapter type Fiat OBD2, which I use normally for diagnosis, but nothing to do....
Who sold me the tool says that it is a question of power and says of food all at 15V, but I don't think you can do.....

    Thanks for the advice....

Maybe clone is not good, you need to change some of the components and if you have the jlink you can update to 4.036.

I thank all of you for the intervention, are interested in the address of the update, but for the moment, I was able to get and send back the Kess and, eventually, me to replace.

Yesterday I also tried on a Peugeot 206 1.1 and it gave me the exact same error....

I hope to solve with the replacement, even if they are interested in the Hardware and software upgrade...

The ECU is a Marelli, but where I have to select the type of protocol?
Does not take it automatically when you select the model?

Error alarm appears when the voltage is low.Try putting the booster.

I put a regulated power supply and the voltage during the operation was stable at 13.5 V.
