resistance for the air bag
hello all I wanted to of the info ,a friend was in an accident and opened the air bag curtain only that do not want to change it, I wanted to know which resistance we can put it to turn the light off.the car, and a BMW X5 2993cc 210kw engine number 306d5
-
depends on the belt tensioner......some go for signal pmw.
If you have 2-wire classic, you could measure the resistance of the pretesionatore passenger side....not impoirta the type of car.
in any case, if it is the ecu airbag bosh test with a resisteza 1k with a tolerance of 0%, and reading in digital, and important that you do not have tolerances.
-
Ok thanks, now I have to set aside this land for repair,it is referred to after the holidays.
-
usually go well with the 2,2 ohm
-
I also confirm that I put a time on the opel merica, 2.2 ohm, if I remember correctly the software woow for diagnosis should have a function to see the values of the resistors
-
I am in total disagreement......if the value is so low that to me it still is not capirato, put a resistor of very low value between the power supply to the pretensioner and the mass to the moment in which you and the need that gives voltage according to
the current that must pass it chars and takes fire.
And totally without foundation a similar change.
Even if you put a vattaggio high that supports that load came on the power part of the airbag control unit disintegrating as ec.
I did it on the clio but only because I realized that the day after it expired the audit and the time to order a sensor new were void, but after I put everything in place.
If the customer does not want to spend the cabbage.
But we went mad!......If we escape the dead or there is bad, and that drivers could make a difference and it is not taken according to you who is also in keeping with the customer.
To risk so much for $ 100 and turn off a light?.....we are at this ****llo?.....Safety first.
If to pass a review is that it is not legal anyway, but then resolves or restore.
An account and have the airbag system inoperative for a sensor is broken, another, and have a system that is Messed up in this way to the whim of the light on which is annoying.
I not sure if ca.......you I don't......and ask me so many.....better with a few bucks less, but I sleep soundly at night!...

Hi all actually, this is a mega bullshit, it's just to make it a pleasure,if we escape the dead son cxxxxx.
-
Watch lightning again....*****I take the customer and cappriccioso and we can stay even if illegal to pass a revision to the turn off at the time and then either repair or replace as before.
The main problem is just the security, if something happens to mica, for the customer and takes its responsibilities.
Even if you explain that, and dangerous, please sign delege or lack of liability of any kind to the customer enters in one ear and out the other without even process the risk!.
The first person pointing the finger and those who have done the job.
As with a proxy you're covered, but you pull us in the middle of ec.
I speak with experience of twenty years of work, not your industry, but little change, that is a pc or other device elettornico or a car, the customer or the user says that the mechanic or technician that did the work "forgetting" to say that we were
authorized with delegation fimrata and written, and perhaps with a digital signature!.
And a very serious issue, so to all I personally recommend not to fulfill the capircci of the customer.
Let him be the boy of the turn from 20€!....This is likely so,career, business and reputation!.

Hello, mustang, your speech does not make a fold to the perfectly reason.customers are whimsical and break.then the problems that you have not finished a damn.
-
Hi all, I have explained to my friend for the speech to mount a resistance and to turn the light off the air bag,or given up to do the work that is not worth it.
