Mercedes Clk 2001 with problems with lambda probe

Hi guys,my friend has a Mercedes Clk kompressor 2001 petrol with lpg system
would like to completely exclude the lambda probe why? the car of the v? in recovery,also replacing the lasts very little,what can be done?
