hi guys.. I am a new user and would like to get also the " I " in your world.. I almost bought a cable mpps clone online... but I think I've made my mistake big as when you attached the cable and installed the program, I practically very few cars you can manage..
? a problem of the cable to the clone or is the software not ? up-to-date? in addition, the mpps purchased was not as in the picture with the box is gray, but a simple cable... I wonder have I been cheated? in order to understand if the cable works using the other software can I make a diagnosis and perhaps try to reset the errors? or for the diagnosis I need other cables? thanks...

I have documented the evil trusting rumors.. but that cable I advice to make a diagnosis and maybe reset the codes? since I have a friend who has a workshop I can use the MAGUS of the ECM? do you know? told me I needed to make smart, but I think that it all depends on the software and not from the cable.... I don't think that for every car BMW, audi, etc etc do I need a different cable.....

the mpps does not diagnosis,and according to me your error is that you bought the version 5 that aim? you can not upgrade it to version 12, except if you don't change the interface,at this point you can try again to riistallare the supplied software and see if it still works otherwise ? locked.

I also noticed that the software installed via the mini cd is called Multi Protocol Programming System instead of the version 12 I read your MPPS on the icon el icons are different... maybe the purchased version ? the version of tarot? Between version 5 and 12, everything changes, including hardware and software. Anyway, as you said around the differences between the two versions, except for a few cars + recent, are minimal. I have a V5 and I work well, for? of course you need to use the appropriate software, the 5 in this case, that corresponds to the first icon of the image that you posted.

Uninstall it completely from your pc and remove the installation folder, then reload the software and it should work, at least not in the way you stuck trying to use a software that is not his own.

once you apply the pach I tried to update the firmware with the cable connected.. ( cable is recognized when the pc reads it as "amt-flash"), but do not just go to a good end
what can I do? I enclose a further screen of the problem... thanks again.

does anyone know how to launch the program mpps without having the cable plugged in..?I read somewhere that there is a file to insert ..but I can't find the source..

yes, it exists, but what is it for? if you want to know the car can do after the place..I remember that x download you have to have the famous 50 mess.useful continues to participate actively.

..the file is saved in the pc..the riaprirei as if I wanted to transfer it to the ecu..it was just a convenience for not having another cable on the legs(I have a small child and I find the time for the pc when he is sleeping and on the bed with the laptop less cable I have the better..:rolleyes:

In my mpps5 you don't need a cable to upload the files into the soft to read the data.

The v12 if not connected(not to include the famous plugin) does not open without the cable..
