By default, the interface connects to only a few units: usually, ecu, engine, power steering, abs. To access other functions (can bus, drivers, weather, etc) ? need the appropriate adapter, different depending on the type of car. In this case, for?, not all interfaces work, and ? cos? need to remove the resistor. You have to try and see how it behaves.
Just yesterday I tried it on a Fiat Punto 1.200 cc 8-valve and it worked fine.
I have tested both USB model that BT both without modification.
Better cos?, from what I can see the interfaces that do not require change behave better in general. For the case, can you tell me how ? branded the internal circuit? Has a code?
Above I posted a picture of the schwda but not .there are acronyms
Ah ok. The photos can not display it. However, of the two interfaces that I own (both 1.4), we say "better" ? marked "CHX", and ? the same name with which it is detected. The other is seen as "the CAR". Externally for? are identical, so at the time of purchase ? also impossible to distinguish them...
It is, in fact, but ? also a matter of luck. Sometimes you buy two interfaces from the same seller, one works and the other doesn't.
Let's say that we are talking here about a few euros.
However, my ELM327 (usb) is displayed as EOBDII.
do not change resistors or other...
downloaded from the web and installed on the pc where you want to use the elm protocols uart - >usb...
But then, if I understand, c'? a way to "software" to solve the problem without removing the interface and remove the resistor?
