you have the option? to do a firmware update, and cos? doing soprascrive the code. L?update you can do so by downloading l?update from the network, the rip and the update. There are sites and discussions appropriate.

Gugola + or - Firmware connect nav+ with +or - magneti marelli. Let me know if you did or how you did it. I'm also interested in me ;-) but not having had any cases like this only remains for me to stand by and watch as you do :-)
