It seems that in some samsung Smartphone, the service SPP (serial over Bluetooth) is not enabled.
I use it on a galaxy tab 2 7" no problem of this kind ...

Hello; today I solved it; I can confirm that the Samsung Galaxy Ace with Android 2.3.6, has a bug in the bluetooth stack; type devices serial SPP (ELM327 bluetooth) are not associated with.

I found an application you can install that bypasses this problem, it is called the "BLuetooth Class Zero"; I have installed, I have paired the device and now torque connects.
A further confirmation of what has been said, with another smartphone, "Samsung Nexus", the association to the ELM327 device ? occurred without problems.
On the galaxy tab 2 7" I have android 4.1 ? I do not have this problem :) anyway torque pro ? a nice software :)
