Solution hardware failure galletto v2 ver 52 3 led

Hello all , I am writing to you because I wanted to share with you the result of the hardware change to the ' s motherboard del galletto v2 ver 52 three-led!!!!
thanks to give me directions from the forum I managed to make it perfectly compatible with all the cars in l,the interface indicated

unlike what is required by the change complete to check the layout advised ...that is

1) replacement no. 2 integrated MC34063
2) replacement 1 capacitor, the first in the upper left 470 microfarad 35 v
3) replacement 1 capacitor 35 v 330 microfarad
4) replacement 1 capacitor 100 microfarad 35 v
5) replacement 1 smd resistor 470 ohm 1 res smd 1,5 kohm 1 smd res 270 ohm 1 res 1 khom more than 1 res 3,9 k
6) replacement of the resonator, 3-pin, with quartz metal 16 mhz
7) replacement of the integrated 14-pin st hec 40106b with integrated 14-pin philips hef40106bt
8) filter epcos b827905513n
9) filter TDK ZIY-2P
10) RES smd 120 ohm

in reality, the components of the mobo was already compatible with many of the pieces in the list
perhaps the fact that I proceeded to step by step

I changed then the resistors smd all those in serievicino to the relay and one knows 3,9 k present near the mc34063 already present
after this first step still does not read the delphi....but, the value in volts of the battery and the past, 11,2 -(insufficient) to 12.7 fixed!!!!!

this stability has allowed me to have a read error when trying to read the map!!!!!
it was already a big result as the first seemed to read but then don't create the file gave error!!!
then I realized that the integrated hec40106b theun st microeletronics was not suitable to carry out in a proper way
the management of the poll up power supply (dialogue) due to the presence of a resonator is very economical to place
a quartz quality with mobile metal (degree of precision high)

result..!!!!!! stable, fast, reliable reads and writes correctly with autochksum


drive, try the chevrolet captiva 1.9 read and write to an average of 12 min

ford focus tdci 115 hp delphi in the year 2002 read and write to an average of 18 min

audi a4 1.9 tdi reading written 12 min

tricore bdm without antituning read and written in 2 minutes (whole)

I still want to try the other drive as the simos and other...,if I can I know or do I do
with the next step!!!

hi Abarth, I have already? made a few months ago these changes, putting into practice the council of Mbena, and for now it seems that have had a positive outcome.

so guys my not to this error as quoted by davidepar,I just try to improve it if c'? need why? until now, or did jtag, k-line can bdm,only a little problem yesterday on a c3 hdi sid 802 siemens are not able to get into boot mode, or had to unsolder the flasks AM29F400BB,I do not know if the problem is ecu or galluccio should I try it on another ecu to confirm the value in volts in the sw indicates 12.7 fixed,now I would like to know if c'? some component to be replaced or not!!thanks a lot

After you replace only that, my cock is read in line K.

Then I checked also the four and I have replaced one (can't remember which)

Then I also changed the quartz and the HEF and some capacitors.
I don't know if I can post the full picture of the motherboard with all the changes... (I don't want to run the risk of me ban)

I am new here.....thank you again everyone, for the help but I want to make a clarification ....the links of the forum that has given you the info for the changes I thank you infinitely...mbena!!!! and rare
find people so competent and available ... and at the first opportunity, I would like to reciprocate, but I want to make a clarification....
in the info give me there were changes thrusts that were in the capacitors ...the power regulators and resistances included two filters to cut off the output power on line obd
but the galletto v2 ver 52 come to me already had this many components that connects indicated.....
so I decided to go for step and I can confirm that today I have limited myself to change :

1) a smd resistor 1mm x 2mm for precision 1kohm was originally a smd marked 104.. by the way watching the mboards holding the obd on the left, the resistance number 4 of 4 the first to the left of the row between the two capacitors and the relay yellow (in my case black!!)

2) replacement of the resistor 103 smd present near the mc34063 in the upper right with respect to the relay....only the most recent at the bottom, with a value of 3.9 k (abbreviation 392)

3) replacement of the integrated hcf 140106b st microeletronics with a HEF40106BT REBRANDED PHILIPS NXP

4) replacing the resonator with a 3-pin with a crystal 16 mhz with a metal frame and only two pins.



I stress that, and need to replace the two resistors indicated...because by doing so
the cock becomes much more stable....of course fully charged battery ....

but I would recommend limiting yourself to these changes and does not proceed to the exchange
of the capacitors and to the application of the filters if you don't need to, and this is because
the same colleague who has made the changes he explained that, after having made
the change thrust I think I have understood that it has added a system with potentiometers
to change without desoldering anything the values in khom of resistors with jumpers appropriate because it was not working well with all the ecu.....

Guys today I ? happened a bad thing. After the change I have read an ecu I did id etc and all was well. Then the cock ? stopped for 2 days. You already tried this but nothing to do!!! I doubt that something special happened to the voltage regulators (MC34036). I have replaced the capacitors as shown in the photo of the mod, but not the two integrated that you seem to be regulators (MC34036). Now by measuring the voltage, for example, on the heads of the integrated HEF40106BT (vdd pin and vss pin), appears to be 8,99 Volts. And right then, this voltage is, or should be 12Volt?? :confused:

hello machinist....maybe I should give you the directions you need to replace the chips with mc 34063 but on the capacitors leaves the basic ones, i.e. in the order of 220 mF 35v or with the same capacity but the voltage more than 65 es (instead of 470)

it also changes the capacitor 330 mf with a 100 mf 50v volt or higher es 63... also changes the last 100mf with a 10mfp 50v or 63v

as I have already stated in the forum view previous messages when you do a mod thrust as that of mbena you run the risk of stressing the regulators mc34063 with power too high....in addition, then, to make it stable, you should
buy filters tdk and the filter epcos that are very expensive and generate incompatibility with some units

hello matthew, I can confirm that if you have the relay yellow, and the symbol and mc 34063 are of good quality, perhaps best of my and I can confirm that in addition to the two resistors, the quartz and the hef4016bt I have only replaced two capacitors with the same capacity but voltage greater

before the mod read only the id but it gave strange characters
after the mod only resistors without changing capacitors and replacing it with quartz+ integrated hef read in 13 minutes ......written in 27 minutes

after the same exchange capacitors but only two with power from 50v to 63v read in 9 minutes, and written in 18

this is my experience.....it works well even in bdm
to publish a complete list as soon as possible
