if you don't have any backup you have to troverne one and rewrite it always BDM
the beauty of having a BDM ? just the fact that BEFORE performing any work on any ecu BEFORE you make a nice backup processor,flash and eeprom
in some cases you don't need a backup))))))
Then you should also write the map directly in the bdm...otherwise once reassembled, if things go bad in writing you have to disassemble again.Quote:

so guys, if you use the bdm then make a nice backup of all and write back even in the bdm given the fact that the ecu and removed it,but if you write in the serial and locked and you have no backup you can search the net or ask perhaps even in this forum cos' write back always in the bdm.

if you do the reading with the serial you can only read the flash of the ecu, the backup you can do that are in the bdm, but why? read the entire contents of the ecu, then ? good idea to make a backup before write via the serial port. If the writing were to go wrong then you reopen the ecu and rewrites always in the bdm. The reconstruction of the file is only if you have not made the backup copy.

hello guys I have a problem today, I tried to change the km in the ecu, a great point mjt made reading total bechup then I read 2eprom and modified with nyo4 from 140000 to the flow 84000 write the 2 eprom horsemanship the ecu I'm going to check with diagnosis tool (in km) in the ecu, and I always 140000 but mistake or procedure as well as
