MagPro2 Advice on use.

Should I use MagPro2 v4.2 to read and write the map of the Ducato 2.3 mjet which ? the treaty change these days in my other dedicated thread.
I would like to kindly ask for some advice...
According to you, to read and write without problems the EDC16 mounted on the vehicle, which speed? data transfer recommended:
- Minimum
- Media
- Fast
- Maximum

Also is it best to write "only" or "all"?

I ask for one last clarification: what is the button "Magp" which is on the right just above the button "Exit"?

then for the button magp I don't remember what the subtitle,for the speed, let that set, if you get problems in reading try them all until the law, and then remember to use the same speed in writing,to the mode at all or only data I would say to read the whole thing, and then write only the data, but I believe that in some cases, face still as he wants.

in k-line you always recommend mode? slow x the rest ? as it says msport.

Given that the topic intrigues me: prativamente by only writing the data, the programmer goes to rewrite only the part of the map, which lists only the plans that affect the performance of the vehicle and usually modified by the preparatory?
To make there? compare the map in the ecu with the one that we are writing to, and then transcribe only the parts that are different, or simply the people that made the hardware programming has included specific addresses for each ecu and the programmer rewrites automatically only those areas of the map?

exactly only writes the porziona of data that need to change.

Do you know if the portion of data rewrites is determined from time to time by comparing the map present in the ecu with the one that we are uploading, or if ? been established a priori by the manufacturer of the instrument box (MagPro, Rooster, etc...)?
I ask this to understand if there is the risk that the instrument, in the process of writing with this mode?, to omit the regions of the map that have been modified, or if ? a doubt non-existent.

you can change what you want, however, in mode, only the data will eventually write a portion of the map.

by writing only a part of the maps ? pi? easy to save the ecu in the case of a block without bdm
the checksum is to be calculated, the calculations with ecm titanium, or other sw type winols, or the calculations with the read and write interface, but must always be calculated.
tip: connect a battery or a booster to avoid voltage drop, do it always, often the cause of a lock ecu ? a voltage sag in the process of writing

I tried it today, following your advice, for now I'm limited to reading. :)
I have noticed for? for this specific model of ecu ? can decide whether to read all or data only: the decides on the tool! So I think that in this specific case, read and write everything...
However, 1000 thanks to all three for the comprehensive explanations: I will definitely be useful with the next units :)

I once tried to write mode? slow a point 1.3 mjt 70cv that comes out in version b-can and, but I did write, gave me the key nn correct then looking a bit on the internet I saw that by setting the speed average went quietly and so ? state

In magpro2 the x protocol, the fiat bravo 1.6 mjt from 120 hp nn ec according to you works with that of the mito 1.6 mjt from 120 hp?

today, pom made bravo 1.6 mjt 120cv with the magpro2 v. 4.2 with the protocol of the bravo 105eur5 family 55 edc16plus
