Good evening to all I'm a beginner, I'm starting to smanettate with ecmtitanium but since it is really just the beginning I can't decipher the descriptions when I go to look for the ecu, for example I loaded a file from a bosch me7.4.5 and in the list of the program there are several but the numbers next to the type of ecu and what are they (example me7.4.5 683-6.358), then the description cks 88c8 what it is,and in the end the description ecm107 what is it for? Thanks for the response, I had a look I found a manual in Italian, but too generic I just realized that cks is the family of the checksum I think, and anyway I don't understand well in the absence of driver how to find the nearest, or if there is another mode
Then, the numbers of which you have spoken above are the numbers on the hardware and software important to recognize the ecu. if you want to open a file you first need to read it directly on the car or collect one on the network, opening it then with ecm titanium automatically you part to search for the drivers and the game is done.
Thanks for the reply, yes in fact some of the maps that I downloaded with ktag and then read on ecmtitanium recognize it automatically and then offers me the maps to change, and if there is not its driver how can I do is there any technique to be able to adapted to driver family controller the same
Update , I tried with two control units bosch me745 cem0 id ge 0261208908 Sw 1037382882 Sw agg 9663518680 but ecm titanium does not recognize it if I try with other driver clearly gives me checksum error and however, the above numbers hw and Sw can't find them in the ecm how can I do it without driver? From what I see ecm has the drivers for the 908_882 but not for the 680 (the full name of the driver C908_882).

Unfortunately not I me download it to upload yet, however I tried to use the driver units of the same family and it makes me see the maps, however my inexperience I can not understand in 2D maps real I stick too much to those drivers even if first I should learn how to recognize them, I, however, the software md5 to what I should serve, I saw that between the other is free
Brief explanation slightly OT:
Every file on the PC has its unique signature and is "tagged" with an MD5 that is not a hexadecimal code.
ECM has catalogued these md5 for each file type, ORI, for this the changed files are not recognized, they can not make a recognition of a file which has in its list of md5 for the recognition.
About the work in 2d, I can tell you that you don't have now..
Start working the maps known from the ecm learns the correlation, what you want to achieve, you set a goal and work only on the maps recognized.
After that you have understood the function of maps, all of the functions of the ecm and reach the goal, in that case (but as will you since you will understand a lot more now) you go to find out the driver to get as much as you want. Then at the end of the work on the pc, loads the map, do a log and see what you get and if something does not come back (surely happens since or you have a **** absurd or you are a genius but I don't think none of the two cases) make changes to remedy as it does not get.
