    Failure of ABS Audi A6

Good evening to all, today I have proposed to give a look at the ABS of an audi A6 ? by a p? that the starter goes in error and remains the light is on steady and the ABS does not work. In the dealership my friend have said that you have to change the ecu and the pump complete with the sights disbursement economic cos? he said to drop that much of them, little would have demolished.... (&#128541 cos? you ? turned to me and in talking to us, he told me that the dealership does not even have attacked the diagnostic tester and that they baptized immediately, the abs control unit as fott...ta! It seems strange to me... because of my great ignorance about can you tell me if this model of audi had problems with the factory or if to you there ? already happened to an ABS-ecu that is burning from evening to morning? If you are unable to repair it? Could you give me some advice? For now, I expect to leave the car and as soon as I can I'll post the DTC,
    Thanks!

I with a A6 3.0 or had problems with the sensor steering angle..
would result in the failure of ABS, etc..

many times the relay main stops responding, try to give him two shots with the car in motion, and see if you start again and try to reset error!!!

Gi? success on this a6. We have replaced the hydraulic unit on the pump, dell abs. I suggest you to connect the tester vcds specific audi vw and do diagnosis on the pi? possible bleeding the system, always with the specific function on the tester "output test" and see what it tells you, or if at least you can get into in diagnosis.

A6 of 2002??? Not ? the one built under the pump??

Then the problem ? only the pump... I asked to know if it was a known problem. Given that my friend have not even attached the tester. Working on the heavy, medium and light (and the way do I do not ? ever change an abs group unless the medium was not a bodybuilder just noticed that welded without taking the proper precautions!! On the heavy, sometimes, the ol group EBS you ruin as being a form of braking electro-pneumatic condensate water of the air tanks attacking the various pressure sensors inside of it. But on these models, ABS no I never found any significant problems. Thanks to all of you.. If anyone knows give me other tips will? to try... in the Meantime, I do the checks that you said to me... But the ABS control unit under the feet of the passenger did not know their existence! Thanks again!!
