View The Full Version : Problem with control unit for JTD 105cv
Hello all, I am in possession of a fiat doblò 1.9 jtd 105hp 2005 (engine code 223A7000) on which is mounted a control unit of a fiat doblò 1.9 jtd 100 hp (engine code 182B9000, 2002) and I want to get back to his original unit. I wanted to ask you if you are obliged to take a unit of a doblò 1.9 jtd 105 cv, or I can take any ecu to a jtd 105 hp (type fiat bravo, alfa romeo 156, etc.). Rest waiting for your opinions and advice.

Then they are all EDC15C7, or better Hardware and has nothing to do with the origin change the software inside..
now you're equipped to work on these ECU's? Read and write and you're good to go..
otherwise, if you find a 105hp make a scodifica or partial transfer of the e2prom, and you're good to go..

Hello and thank you for having responded to me, however I do not know if I say nonsense but I have read on the internet that the jtd 100cv is different from the jtd 105hp regard to the management of the turbo that is electronically controlled while the jtd 105cv no. I say this because the turbine on this doblò and this control unit starts to spiengere very high (about 2500-3000 rpm) whereas before with the original control unit of the 105hp spiengeva already more or less 1700-2000 rpm.
Have you tried to compare the two flash of the two ecu's and see the map of the turbo?
Maybe they have management different as I have noticed that you only linked to how many rpm is attacking and nothing else.. maybe they have the same prx peak but different mapping.

to experience on the bravo jtd 100, the ecu manages the pierburg turbo even if it is a variable geometry type of the class a170 cdi, while the 105 hp is mechanical directly....on the 100 hp as you put in the bike should pull the pierburg to get pressure to the turbo that's why you hear it at high rpm the turbo....

ok, so if I place a control unit of a doblò jtd 105cv, or any unit of another jtd 105 cv scodificata (type bravo, 156, or any other model) to solve this problem? Thanks

Hello, unfortunately I do not have yet the tools with which I can read the files on the ecu (I'm starting to only hack with ecm2001), but, as it has confirmed to me isfedale82 the management of the turbo is different in the two engines

maybe change something on the couple.....some other thing
all units of the 105 horses type doblò 156 marea bravo 5 pins are the same.

Ok, as soon as I have time, I try to find a ecu and then I will let you know and thanks again!
as you are saying the friend todos the ecu jtd 105 are 5 pins, your being a 2005, safe euro3 do not think it is the same, instead of those of the 100 hp is already euro3 and has 2 plugs as I think it is yours, you can flight with a 100 hp and change the mapping above
