View The Full Version : Edc15p audi a3 8l 130hp, map an overboost...
Hi guys,
I have a a3 8l 1.9 tdi 130hp with a GT1749VA
I would like to ask you some advice about the map that ecm titanium called time of an overboost...
to understand how to work this map I tried to set it all to zero...
I have written and I have tried the machine on a straight, 2-km...
the car was from god! between gear shifting, there was no lag on the part of the turbine... every changed gear the car sgommava...
only that... I've done more or less 1 kilometer and a half, and the turbine has left me on the street...
my question is... how to go touched this map?
currently I have a GT1749VB, from a controller I set the map limit to the turbo and n75(time of an overboost) with the same increments of the golf 4 150cv.
I would like to know how and with which criterion has to be touched to the map n75 time of an overboost, and if it is correct that he put the values of golf...
hello,
apart from that, ecm titanium is not reliable as regards the names that the various maps;
with regard to what you say, I think that refers to the control of the variable geometry of the turbo (internal vanes).
the vanes of the variable geometry open and close to optimize the boost pressure, and are controlled by the valve pierburg.
here is a video that explains how they work
as much as I've seen, if in the ecm are increased by the values in the table, the machine will impigrisce, then it can be deduced that higher values = palette open so the pressure drops; the values for lower = palette more closed then pressure more high. putting it to 0 you did work the turbo pressure stratospheric! I suggest you put the original mapping and go to step -2.5% at a time up to a maximum of -10%, but do not overdo it in the areas of engine torque (1500-2500 rpm where there is the intervention of an overboost).
if I'm wrong, correct me as well! greetings
I made the log with the map ori, and the result is this...
as you know from the map is set to more than 70 percent above the 2300rpm but she fails to go beyond 65%
making a map, inspired by the values of arl (I've seen the troubles of the arl), this is the result
needless to say, you can also see from the chart...
the car pulls badly, pushes at times, and when it is hot I can hear a noise ferraglioso... as if sfiatasse somewhere, I can't explain it, maybe I've got the classic problem of the turbo spiking, and it is a problem that makes me both with the original map with modified map...
according to you from these log... the n75 is working bad? if he works evil, and I put new, it is correct that from the map I insert the values of the n75 in the arl?
hello, unfortunately I do not have access to the link.
but I'm sorry, give us some info on the turbine that you have mounted on.. how many km it has? in what conditions are you? noise ferragliso.. in what condition is the impeller? dance? the tubes of the lubrication as they are? the variable geometry? etc
the turbine is "new" (regenerated), is a GT1749VB from an ibiza cupra fr 160hp, currently has more or less 2000 km, the impeller is new, as well as all coreassy, tubes of lubrication, I have cleaned all, the variable geometry is smooth (I tried to move the rocker arm under the westegate)...
If you can't see the log I will give you a summary...
From the map are set to values from 2247 rpm at 70% climb up to the 4242rpm to 76%... instead, she gets 43% to 2247rpm salt and incremental 4242rpm comes to the 65% maximum (when it's cold, when it is hot instead of salt, and drops a mind of its own)... this is the value of duty cycle that I read in the group 011 log scope...
Instead, if I raise these values from the map, as I'll get them up to 70 to 80% and from 76% to 86%, at 2500rpm rises to 72% and makes me a peak of 2800mbar on actual intake press, and then rises and drops, i.e., drops to 60% and then it goes back to 70%, drops to 50 and back to 70, and the machine goes back to sobbing...
you are sure that the turbine has been settled well? I suggest two tests to understand more:
1 try another and see if it goes better
Trial 2 your on another car and see how it goes
from these two tests, you understand everything
where are you from that city?
ehehehehehe xD watch it... if I had another turbine, I would not have hesitated xD
also had another car xD
If the same thing you are doing with the original map, the problem is mechanical. Theoretically, you have a problem with the palette of the geometry is seen that changes from cold to warm. First of all provrerei to check that.
as soon as I log in the sound and I will have you feel... according to me, I have trimmed a turbine with manifolds and slotted, they come to temperature and bleed... then you registry so you understand better...
listen, a kindness,
I have quite a few errors in the engine control unit
one is 18062 (That would be the sensor of the oil that is aftermarket and does not recognize him do not know for what the hell reason)
one is 19561 (that would be the n239)
and one is 17849 (that would be the n75)
Is there anyone who would be so kind as to excluding me these 3 errors from the file ecu original? or if you could explain to me how do you delete the errors, I would help you to understand how it works...
Hello!to me it's already happened to mount a turbine reviewed on a golf 5, now I can't remember the model..cmq immediately whistled slightly and made a loud noise of metal on release..however I remember that I was raised on the deck with a colleague to give you a couple of drinks and you could easily see that the noise was the closing of the blades had probably been assembled poorly or not at all had been changed to the carcass..at the end I have had to send back those turbines better new when they break they go into a thousand pieces
from me did not whistle, he makes a lot of noise ferraglioso and he does it only after 2 or 3 pulls strong above 4000rpm, when it is hot very much, he does it even at 2000rpm, but as soon as you release the accelerator and do I turn quiet for 30 seconds, back to normal...
the problem is that who to me has sold me not want to do the warranty for the fact that I mounted... and the warranty is only valid if it is mounted by a mechanic that makes the invoice and specifies the work that he's done...
currently I do not know what to do...
That drag..now that I think about it a second time I always mounted a turbine rev on a outlander 140cv the engine is the same..In that case after a week The customer returned with the machine that made the diagnosis gave me an error inherent in the pressure that now I can't remember..at the end of the fair, the lock-nut on the register of the westgate was loose and had unscrewed almost completely the dipstick! Typically, I'll check them all nuts but do not touch it ever in order not to spoil the paint is for the warranty..try to control it!
checked those and they are perfect...
:(
hi guys I have just managed to do the recording... I am attaching...
you feel very at minute 1:36
turn down the volume of headphones, there are some background noises...
wanting... I still have my 1749va... to know you... the coreassy of the 1749vb mounts on the manifold of the 1749va?
