Mounts still edc16 or edc17?

If it is 4 switch and bit clogging. It remains to 1000% in the diagnosis but that you care. The machine becomes like without the dpf

Hi walter and thanks for the answer, in practice you have described of what I do normally, and I guess a bit of clogging is reported in the usual 1000% that comes later in diagnosis, I know that does not imply anything for the purposes of proper functioning, but might create some "disappointment" at the time the car is resold and the new owner were to see this in the diagnosis, and it is precisely this bit that interests me.

On euro 5, if anything, may not operate the off switch, about €4 and it works great!!! With 2 bits changed, the setting switches from with dpf and probe without the dpf and the sensor (with a value of 2 on the bit switch without dpf with the probe).
Test... I my tests I've done... just do the switch off on a euro 4 fiat and you will see that the car is not the light for the dpf, but will continue to regenerate. I went back a 159 on which I had done the test myself!!
I have the 159 4 and are the 2 years with the switch and the bit clogging to FFFF (65535 IN 16-BIT) regenerations, he has not ever done it. In the diagnosis is only clogging to 1000% state filter is not clogged and the car without the dpf. The oil degradation when you turn on the reset is because every 10000 change the oil anyway
No if 4 for my and other experiences time not only serves to switch off and bit clogging. TIME smoothes out all the dtc and in the diagnosis will not see any problems of the machine. Unless you know to recognize the area of the dtc to put back ori after processing the file with time.
For Euro 5 pulls down the bit of clogging, I highly recommend!!!
-4 in 16 bit is the correct value of the 5?
