Hello all, I am a recent writing. I'm getting closer to the world of the ecu.
I am collecting material for a basic preparation, I already have a brief idea of the operation of the control units and various sensors.
I would like to start to study directly on the EDC17 (you have the choice, or is it best to start from something older?). I've already taken a look at a guide to edc17 where are described the maps main.
My idea was to start a compare of the files ori and files mod to see by what criteria you make the increases, I still have not found anything and there is always the risk of hitting a map made with the feet.
So, now let's start with the questions:
Each car, of course I think I need different increments, the latter based on what you calculate?
As I have heard so far I think everything is based from the maximum amount of air the engine can suck in, and from there via the increase in the pressure of the turbo you will start the mapping work. After you have increased the inlet air can be calculated afr to maintain and increase the injections ( I have seen this procedure based on the IQ of the EDC15, EDC16 then, I've read that there is a table that transforms from a required torque to IQ actual in mm3 instead of mg ), then adapting the map smoke to prepend the injections increased and possibly the duration to avoid post injections unnecessary.
More or less my knowledge stop here, I followed some youtube video of vagecumap on the edc15.
Do you have any suggestions for me? Especially I would like to know if I'm shooting crap, or if there is they are on the right track
