View The Full Version : suzuki jimny 1.5 ddis 63 kw 86 hp ecu delphi dcm 1.2 HW R0410B038B 81230D
Hello everyone I am the owner of a suzuki jimny 1.5 ddis 2006 with ecu delphi DCM 1.2 , turning on the internet I saw the kess V2 clone with protocols to read and write the ecu of my jimny, I wanted to ask you politely this: has anyone ever done this unit in serial with the Kess V2 clone? I ask this because turning around on the net I found many conflicting opinions its how to write this unit, someone says that you can only do by opening it.
thanks to all of you.
the fai with the kess is with the rooster v53 (I have this).
Thanks a lot for the swift response! I was a little worried because one of my former co-worker, a few years ago he had it done by a remapper (I think professional), the controller of his jimny "mine" but he told me that he had had to leave the machine because to make that type of unit could make it just by opening it, "he had spent a lot of money" , your response to me rinquora much... if I had to take the kess v2 software to manage the maps is including I do I have to buy it separately? so I have to study a bit this modification system control units..
it depends on where you buy the programmer, but usually the software to edit the original files are never included.. But you can download fast enough from the network without problems. To direct you on the research test the ecm and winols
thanks Andrea for the info, I immediately start to research.
uhmmm.....it is not a ecu "easy" for beginners,in the driver software missing maps important to make a good map, then it depends also with what hardware the read,if not read the whole of the software will not recognize it....
Thanks Guidotacco! turning on the network I found a bit of information on how to remap the ecu dcm 1.2 of the jimny , and I feel very insecure about how to act, because it says that should be remapped when the engine is cold below 50 degrees otherwise I am in trouble, the risk of losing the encoding injectors, the risk of loss codes immobilizer, fans that start with the risk of lowering the voltage of the battery and compromise the ecu's in writing, unfortunately, are not skilled in this matter, "for this I have knocked at your door, to be able to learn and learn from people who have experience", having regard to the doubts that I have I thought "I hope not to say a osscenità" if I were to find an ecu from a scrap dealer, similar to mine but with code HW not idetico, I could in some way to clone the ecu of my jimny? so that if I do damage I already have an ecu ready to reclaim my car?
thanks again to all for the patience you have shown in me.
on the fact of writing with a temperature below 60°C, and had also heard about it but I on renault cars, and some of detaching the fan connector but I have no experience in the renault. A backup of your original unit I think is almost mandatory because you will use it to make your "experiments", so if it were to go wrong something you can resume the tour. If you want to buy a ecu to keep the spare must have the same number hw, and the number of sw even if it is not equal you can change it by editing the file of your.
Thanks again Andrea, I've made the situation a little more clear, there will be a little time before I will have the knowledge to put their hands on the ecu, so I'm going forward one step at a time , I'm looking for a ecu used even if I think it will be difficult to the thing because of jimny ddis with ecu delphi to collapse there are a few, and in the meantime beginning the study of any software.
If someone wants to leave the other testimonies of how he has done this ecu would be grateful, of the type with which a programmer for the' you made it, how have you written it, the difficulties encountered in read and write.
Thanks again to all for the availability.
fgtech go quiet file 64KB
Thanks so much for the info Guidotacco
I'm back finally are in possession of the software to re-map, and a kess v2, since I am still on the high seas in the understanding of the management of the maps, I did "help" enabling me to make a map from a friend of mine, with the exclusion EGR, touched the injection times, map the pedal, turbo, pressure rail, torque limiter, and the map smoke "I think" if I have not understood bad... now you put the file ori and mod my ecu, to have your own opinion since I would like to understand what he has done, thanks for the patience.
Sorry for the post twice, but I thought that this was the beginning wrong, and I rewrote the message in the section files motor vehicle ecu diesel, thanks.
