View The Full Version : low pressure turbine hyb 530d

sportraxxx
Good evening,on my bmw 530d with the turbine increased,I do not have a pressure gauge attached, during a phase of diagnosis with autocom I was able to note that the pressure of the turbine reached a maximum of 2020 mm/bar though from the map we have placed a value of 2500 mm/bar...
how to never have a gap so high???

you should check first of all the difference between nominal pressure and actual pressure...

the value from the map is relative...

I didn't think was so much the difference....

I thought well that could be a limitation of the sensor bmw that reads maybe up to a certain pressure..more than not the law...and maybe the actual pressure is, but higher...

if you have a difference as high pressure to the ecu you should give a dtc related to the lack of turbo pressure target...
do a test of the actuator with the turbo on those car crashes very often...
if you do it the actuator or the geo turbine, and locked...
happened to me last week on a 120d 163cv actuator locked, the car had no recovery under 3000 rpm as it exceeded that threshold will attacava to the seat in diagnosis we your that after 3000 rpm the turbo piccava to 2 bar and then stabilize at 1.8..but below 3000 is not there was virtually pressure...
fitted a new actuator and calibrated in the ecu and returned all in norm...

problem solved...basically we had made a beginner's mistake...we had raised but the turbine pressure to 2.5 but had not lifted a limiter that we had escaped...it had remained stationary at 1.9....my mom...the guilt of only one bit...
