View The Full Version : reading pressure turbine...
Hello, using the diagnostic autocom on my bmw 530, I have noticed that it has a limit in the reading of the pressure of the turbine...as I understand that does not exceed 2 bar...
I would like to know if it is a limit of the program of diagnosis, or rather of the sensor situated on the car?
thanks
should be a limit of the sensor..
it seems to me that it is a 3bar and then sotraendo 1 bar press atmospheric the maximum that can read 2 bar..
you should replace it with a 4-bar test to see if those in the 535d are so...
search on the web..
I agree with munro...the problem is the sensor...put the other suggested and you will see that you will read the real value....but if you're processing, I recommend you to put a pressure gauge and go on the safe side...
look at that, you can also do a small hole and put it in the steering wheel, the gauge just right for when when you remap a.....which you can then also use for other cars...***** and I do and go sure that you do not have peaks which are detrimental during the remap....often the pressure changes are very fast that with a diagnosis you don't realize it.

you steering wheel is a great idea...however, I have to switch the wires from the engine compartment to the passenger compartment.....

only a tube that brings the pressure...
pero you have to make a small hole somewhere on the intake manifold and avvitarci a niples hose...
What is the most reliable? The digital one or the analog with the tube?
the pressure gauge is normal with the tube..

I the pipe to step outside from the window so it remains only the niples of the rubber on the manifold...the pressure gauge remains my the only use it during the remap
problem solved...it was a limiter to the turbine remained low...once you raised the diagnosis of bed, the pressure up to 2.5...
I forgot... I guess the sensor will read up to 3 bar actual...besides the bar of atmospheric pressure..
