clone ecu denso isuzu mounted on the opel astra 1.7 cdti

Should I clone the above-mentioned ecu,I have read somewhere that you just copy the 3 eprom behind to clone it but what I would like to know is,if I have a ecu with the number of different identifier? you can do something?
