Hello all,

I have approached this forum because I am trying to reset the airbag ecu of my Peugeot 207.
It is a unit with a number equal to that of the control unit of the Angel, that is: 0285010828.
Before delving into this adventure I would like to understand a minimum of a few things.
In the first place, I would like to know if the number I provided is to my airbag ecu, and if any airbag ecu with that number is equal.
Or, I can take a file extracted from the EEPROM on another ecu with the same number and upload it on my own?
The second question that I would like to ask about the other number that I find written on the airbag control unit: 9675068880, what is?

Should be respectively symmetrical to the ECU.. one is the code and HW the other SW code..
Regarding the compatibility I don't think is as you say, each unit has its own hw and sw, if these values are mirrored then I think that your speech can be valid.
If you need the files to your you the share without problems (except limitations of the excellent management of the site).

In fact, I tried a bit between the sites and forums and it seems that several people to load in their own EEPROM of AIRBAG control unit, the files that are located online, and reach the desired result.
The only control is the matching of those 2 numbers, of which we have spoken.

However I would like to ask you a couple of things if I can.
I have read lots of discussions regarding the reset of the airbag ecu, and I see that many kids do not make other that to try and load the files that are online and check if you turn off the light.
It seems to me that they use precisely the indicator as a feedback, it turns off only if you have loaded a correct file that has the log of a sharp deceleration?
In other words, the light will turn off only in the case that the system is back operational and well-functioning?

The Delphi I don't have one unfortunately. But the ELM327 should not already detect all the error messages from the ECU?
