Diagnostic OBD2 elm327 bluetooth

I would like to know what type of diagnostic socket mount my golf 4, year 2001, engine code AXR. I put an adapter obd2 elm 327 bluetooth but does not communicate with my pc and with the application torque for android. My grip ? type obd2 or can bus? Trying the same adapter on the golf year 2003 of a friend of the interface communicates perfectly with the program torque for android. Thanks

according to me, the elm327 are run on all machines with the press obd1 and 2.

according to me, obd2 to a new protocol and is not able to communicate with golf 4 2001 that a protocol obd of the first generation.....greetings..

the elm on your car should be fine, I personally do not I would trust the torque for android, I don't see the need given that you also have a pc get programs + effective working with the 327 and you'll see that v? a beauty I would highly recommend you have to set it well

I contacted some time ago, the elm via **** they confirm the fact that many of the clones have these 'failures', and also that the last existing version of the chip elm ? the 1.4 b as we can also read from the site does not exist nor ever will exist, the new revisions to the firmware/hardware, and with all probability? all those who sell and peddle elm for 1.5 etc etc are basically clones of the 1.3 had a lot of problems of this type... considering that maybe your elm ? the original I would try to use the elm with windows, and try if the problem does not reside in the bluetooth stack of your android device...

I tried with the same elm 327 and the same cell phone with the torque on the golf of my friend ? the year 2003 and it works perfectly, while on my no. I don't think is a problem of the bluetooth stack

Diagnosis interface 2-K (KKL) of multiplexer OBD2 this ? there? I have said and for this reason it could not work. But as ever on my no and on that of my friend, being the same machine but exchange 2 years?

on the vw and audi that works great ? the vag com you can do several things that with the elm 327 does not do

as you advised, giarras I think so too,you'll want to get the cable vag com that you find at a low price, you connect it directly to your pc and you will see how many things can make you without the star has become so crazy,and certainly the bluetooh ? convenient for you? if you tried it on the machine of your friend and it works is definitely not a problem of the elm, for me the obd2 to a new generation protocol not conpatibile with your own.you should try on a golf course the same for your model and year!or try to make a diagnosis with another tool, maybe you're scervellando but the problem and on the line of communication to your car!

I tried using the diagnostic tool my mechanic, and communication problems there are. C'? some program for your pc that face the most? or less the same functions as a torque in real time?

you can try:
scanMaster
digimoto
etc.. there are at least a dozen of software that are well x the elm.

But the elm does not work on my machine, otherwise it worked also with torque or no? So I would need to programs that use the interfacca vag com right?

if you use the vag surely ? top x your car you can do everything, even to change configurations..but the elm as giestione engine (only) works the same.

I have to try and then a elm usb and interface it to a pc and see if it works. If the elm usb functions otherwise I think that would have worked even bluetooth!

Looking on the net I found this statement:

with vag com you can read the erorri and programare various functions on the machine VAG, elm327 is a device with which you can only read the errors and you can programare.

But pi? that program I want to see the real-time values type engine rpm, speed, turbo pressure etc etc

If you have a car and VAG, you should definitely take VAG-COM, because the price is almost ugualle to the ELM327 pero you can do so many more things. If you want to work on all types of machine you get an ELM327.
