View The Full Version : Read the obd on the bench

luchetto19
Good evening to all...according to you it is possible to take readings from the obd on the bench? So as not to remove the ecu, and proceed only from the external connectors ...I tried to follow the diagram that there is in the folder pinout of the galleto thinking that was the one, however, shows the power and only a wire for the k line but should not be two? I'm talking about a magneti marelli nevertheless, 6f3 ...I have to say that the same controller I tried under the car, and I've read and written from the obd so my tool is working...I have this need because often work only with the ecu that they bring me customers and I have no possibility to work on the car...

If I wanted to do via the serial connection to the counter is possible according to you ?

I don't think there is any problem just find lecu between the documents that are sincerely once disassembled I go to bdm on these is more safe !!

ugoboss
the K-line has only one wire, is the line CAN that has two , high and low.

Guys sorry if I go off-topic, but I don't open another topic... I am trying to read in bdm a nevertheless, 6f3 a 500 but I get error micro not supported by what can be caused? this is the first time that I try to read bdm, I have followed all the instructions that are there in the folder but nothing I tried also to use the adapter

ugoboss
first of all, what you read, you have taken away the resistance? have you powered up the ecu? did you weld or use the e xxx spring?

luchetto19
I'm reading with galletto, I have removed the resistor and powered the ecu as it is written in the documents of the rooster and I soldered the pins on the port bdm for now, don't use the template

ugoboss
if you have performed these steps, I know that things are two, or not make contact well the welds, or your cock is no good in the bdm, try to do the reading of another car.

luchetto19
I tried on a great point always nevertheless, 6f3 and went I tried a marelli 4af in boot mode and went...but in the bdm on the marelli 6f3 and 6jf nothing

luchetto19
However, the great point in the obd l I made

I remember that some tools clone had a problem with the bdm, and had the components to change, I can't tell you more, here on the forum, the ec people very expert on these tools if you look around a bit in the discussions, you notice it.

luchetto19
You I have seen around a bit..***** s, now I call the seller and see what he tells me

I have done both with the V53 with the V54 standard box and the new in its plastic box and the relay yellow to make the FIAT Fiorino with the MJ6DF3 (not PLUS) and made it in to the serial port as the Point 1300Mjet and BDM removing the Resistance that blocks the BDM. In BDM I soldered 10 wires in the boot looking for the pin 1 with the tester, used the protocol BDM MCP55x and cloned the ecu without problems. Removing the FAP and rewritten in the BDM.
In so much that we are on the topic of the cock and Marelli, what is the cable OBD male to female in the box with the wing nut along the 10cm?? An extra current?

giuseppe89
Guys I have never read Marelli bdm but I was wondering one thing, the resistance must then be removed at the end of the operation must be a garage or not? The manual does not mention it, I believe, to be deleted then...correct me if I'm wrong

Fabiuz
Do not go in remission, only serves to block the read write from the points of the boot.
It is a test, the fact that if the levi and re-mounting the ECU in the car, the auto part.
Reseal all as much as you're finished and he also that R SMD. Only serves as a protection to the reads/writes are not authorized

Hello Fabiuz,I am trying to read in bdm a marelli 6f3 with Gllo v 54 european,I soldered the two combs from the manual but it doesn't work
I would like to try soldering 10 wires to the boot as you fattu you, could you kindly explain how have you done?

The problem is simply that those of schedule are wrong.
Take the multimeter put it on continuity test (that sounds x words), put one lead on a pin at the mass of the marelli and begins to touch the points with the BDM, you will find 2 points to the mass neighbors, those are the 3 and the 5.
To the left of the 3 to find the pin 1 (red), and begins thus:
2 4 6 8 9
1 3 5 7 10
And remember to remove the small R SMD blocking port BDM.
Feeds the ecu from pin, selects BDM/JTAG MCP55xx Connect and READ!!!
I hope I was clear
