View The Full Version : Marelli 6jf point 1.3 - ecu burnt

giary74
A greeting to all,

It would seem that the ecu has been tampered with, because the silicone closure is white and not grey, but, except this detail, I doubt that the cause can be due to some external problem and not the ecu itself.
In other words, I would not scodificarne a new deal burned as soon as mounted, for this reason I ask if it has already happened to someone be only the ecu was burnt without problems to the electrical system.
Thanks

Usually the units you autoproteggono against short circuits.
What makes you jump, in addition to causes cases, they are usually the overvoltaggi, the reversals of polarity and infiltration of water.

hi happened to me and something similar, of course, and good to give a controlled plant eletrrico I have not found anything abnormal in the system, I put an ecu and already a year and all goes well

it may happen that you ruin the file inside the ecu, in other words, I have a great point with the symptoms of the ecu route, I made a bck and copied to a another ecu from the breaker ...same symptoms can happen, or are on the wrong path?

blackwolf76
obviously you're on the wrong track.
check ground to engine and try to replace the fuse box in the engine compartment.

gabrilupo
thanks for the advice ... I realized that by disconnecting the injectors, or the phase sensor, the ecu doesn't register any dtc how to explain this?

obd75
check the system charge, and any wiring shelled......
not ruled out a failure of some final and driver and then a defect in a stand-alone ecu.

gabrilupo
The wiring is intact. .. I found a ecu that instead of being a 6f3 p7 hw04p is a 6f3 p1 hw04p copied in the well can go?

yes, in the past I have already made a clone. I have written the entire backup in BDM, and it worked.

gabrilupo
Then the problem is not the ecu I changed the box.fuses but.nothing....are in a Valley of tears

gabrilupo
does anyone know which tools you can use to align the try once replaced the various ecus?

overbooster
Now they almost do it all,you just have to have a diagnosis to be updated, what do you have?

I have the delphi has it as an option but always fails, it is possible to do it with ***********?

overbooster
it can also fail if there is any ecu that is not in line with the can line, if you go to the list of ecu you have errors? *********** perhaps the fa but I do not possess

gabrilupo
does anyone know if you can replace the body with a demoman? you can reschedule from the diagnosis or do I need to copy some of the memory??

Yes, to a point a little bit of a walk I transplanted l eeprom. Now I don't remember, but if you need do a thorough research.

Looking for a new body computer with the same serial, then replace the eeprom and the game is done.

hi I don't understand why you have come to the body?

Already

It happened to me also very similar on a 6f3. The same mosfet, which in my case over the pressure regulator on the pump AP. After replacement of the mosfet and the capacitor, and broken down and has worked for a few days. When she returned I found the mosfet and capacitor, re-salted, and the scorch-through the pcb from side to side. I guess the problem came from the layer of the slopes that you are in the middle
