View The Full Version : experiments with the cock.
Good day to all, I would like your opinion :I just bought the galletto v54 with template schedule, I have already contacted the admin for information on upcoming courses that will be developed, but while waiting I wanted to start making some experiment (let me explain )I bought a unit a f stilo 1.9 jtd 110 hp , according to you, I can begin the tour to do some experiment and to limit try the same to mount it on a machine the same?that would be the machine in guinea pig of my brother ), The problem would be the immobiliser right? That being encoded with the key of the vehicle to which he belonged not read the other. ..... thanks in advance for the answers ......
at the counter you can begin to explore to open it, and connect it to the galletto to read and write
to mount it on a car the same you should check to see if at least the number of hardware matches, the better, if it is identical also the number of software
if they are equal, both are fully compatible, but in fact as you say would not work because of the immobilizer
then you should scodificarla with some program purpose, which is to say, read the file, process it and rewrite it
if instead it is equal to only the number of hardware you should understand that the number software to mount the drive to your brother, and write the same file on your ecu test, always scodificato
Ok, thanks a 1000 tonight if I get home soon control, to scodificarla will not be an easy task, having never done it, but I will update you , thanks for the reply and have a good day
I suggest you try at least a edc16 now that edc15 I turn very few
sorry if I'm intruding.... I am waiting for the rooster.
What is the difference, connect the BDM or OBD?
limitations in the OBD? you will have to remove the ecu and plug it into the BDM on the bench?
thanks
in principle, via the obd can't read all of the memories of the ecu while on the bench (it is not said BDM, depends on the model of the control unit) can you do a full backup
so if you happen to block write by obd at least you can take her in tour
in addition, some models of the most recent ecu's have various blocks and restrictions by obd, then agrees or is obliged to make a tour
ok thanks for the explanation
You are right Matthew, but for now I prefer to start with that alternatively I could try on the c 2 of my wife, there would also be my class c but I prefer to learn first , in order to avoid being walk thanks for the advice, I wish you a good week end to all....I will update you as soon as I can start to do some experiment!
there is a guide for the rooster?
there is a guide for the rooster?
what kind of help do you want? what you need is all in the folder fgtech in c:
ok then we will give you a look as soon as I get everything.
I confirm what was said in Matthew in the cd of the software you have detailed explanations of how to use the galletto, I find it more difficult to use the program to edit the maps because not l I never used it, but as far as the wingnut trusted that you can't go wrong. ..
I'm stepping stone to the discussion since I'm passing in the dark side of the ECU and I would like to understand some of the differences..
First of all what is the difference between Galletto 1260 and v54 (I assume that one is only OBD2 and the other has the tabs, but it is not clear) ?
On EDC16C39 through OBD2 you can do a TOTAL backup of both the e2prom and the eeprom and relative rewriting, or only partial?
Sorry if I open a new topic but here we are in theme!
Thanks
I am attaching a Document that I created (copy and paste here and there) for the software installation procedure and basic usage.

Well. The differences are many. First of all, as you said one is bdm boot and jtag the other only obd. Drivers v54 are much more updated and is much more stable in writing
Then at the same expense seeing that, strange but true, they cost approximately the same amount of money, it is advisable to a v54?
Definitely the most geek of the 1260, but complete in everything and for everything!
Then seen that to establish the question of driver, having Windows8.1 64bit (called system folder, not the case) I assume that v54 give less trouble to the 1260.. (I had problems even with elm327-china with the drivers as up-to-date was not going to be kicking in and I had to downgrade to make it stable and working).
Thanks for the reply
that price for gallo with dima?

I feel sorry for you but no Galletto will work with win8. anyway, I meant the driver for reading and writing is not the driver for the interface. I still recommend the v54, the 1260 is rubbish in comparison (comparable to a mpps).
where did you bought it?
From china with fury, find them at all prices. Anyway, if I were in your place for not making a mistake I would take in the online shop of the forum! at least you are sure that it works.
I I saw it from a private party who said the european version the best

anyway I I got it from a private milan
I have already sold the kess
I will also have to order the ktag for bdm
even if they say that the rooster makes all the ecus in bdm
antoniuccio kindly do not write 2 words on a single response and does not queue 20 responses.. for the simple matter of reading the tell..
Anyway, I found it on the baya the v54 with template (do not post the link to the policy can-spam act) at a cost of ~50€+shipping.
I don't know how to be functional without any changes since the cineserie is true that they are lowcost but you slam always for any changes for compatibility on the hardware.
The cockerel v54 is is the BDM port that the OBD then fullpackage, with a single purchase (according to me).
I say, skip the missed ktag and kess. Both, taken together, are not at the height of the rooster! EDC15 there is no way to make them. ok who are old but with the cock, you do it without problems!
I confirm,edc17 made in obd ;)
there is a list of ecu feasible in the OBD or BDM?
For example, I would like to make a framework smart tools 1 series.
I don't know if this is feasible with the cock... pretty much the battery change I sprogrammato the instrument panel (I configured a framework for gasoline, I believe the default smart... but mine is a diesel, so I have a tachometer busted, condelette not working etc.)
I would like to copy the file (if it's possible to do so) to another smart cdi on mine.
It will be feasible?
guys I got the rooster, but the software cd is damaged because it gives me the error letttura a file on a disk on 2 pc.
you will find the software online?
thanks

that cock is?
V54
I found on the net an installation file called V54 master galletto 4 (16\04\2014)
Windows defender during the installation some files as a trojan... everything in the standard?
disable connection to the internet and all antivirus
install the file named fgtech galletto edited v1.0
connects the wing to the pc and installs the drivers that you find in the folder fgtech/drivers or something like that
reinstall the file
finally, install the file galletto win7
launch the program via the shortcut on the desktop galletto win7
ah remember that if the interface is not connected to the pc the program is not part
also, I recommend you always turn off your internet connection and antivirus every time you use it
hello to all.
possible that I can not read a edc15 smart 450 cdi?
gives me error when I try to read the data or the file
thanks
Hello, if you search the forum there is a photo on the components to replace your tool as the other should be fixed, your have the classic problem of Kline
ok you know where to find info?
I can't find the post
thanks
Mount for at least a quartz 16mhz instead of the radrizzatore
Hello all,
I go back on this discussion as I have the rooster with dima, but not used for lack of info.
Currently working with MPPS, and (I'm waiting), the delphi 150 (elm327 bellino to play but not very professional).
And' possible to find a total and complete list of the pinout and the procedure for connection, whether with tickets that are not more units?
What you can do with the galletto BDM/JTAG BOot And tricore you'll find him c:\FGTech\DOCUMENTS and DOCUMENTS_NEW_TOOL
