View The Full Version : Name (ECM), and explaining the maps injection
Guys, I would like to have clarification about the names of the ecm on some maps:
then, in my file ori ecm about the injection I:
-Injection zoned
-injection zoned (Map 1) 3 similar Maps
-Injection zoned (Map 1) (Boost x rpm) 5 Similar Maps
-Injection zoned (Map 2) (Boost x rpm). 5 Similar Maps
Reading I understood that these maps relate to the main injection, post-injection and pre-injection(and then I think I relate to the advance of) the problem ? I don't understand what exactly are you and what do you mean by pre\post injection.
-Also seeing the map pedal( Enrichment, acceleration) are shown in addition to the main exhibition ecm 3 other similar maps, how ? better behave, by manually copying the increases in the same way on all 4 or each handles other things, and then you have to study the increments to be give individually to the 4 maps??
Hello skizzo93, I'd like to help you why? I'm studying a bit I this ecu, cos? can I learn some thing as well I will, but as you can see I am a beginner beginner and I do not see the file that you posted. From what I understand reading around ECM's called often the maps with names that are, say, entirely correct. Could you post the addresses of the maps you speak of? The maps pedal, for example, in a unit that I have seen (always edc16c39 for? I don't know the software version so it might be slightly different) are 1C1674, 1C18B8, 1C1AFC, 1C1D40 and I think that every map has its function (for example, between the first and the second change in the axis of the turns, in the first c'? 400,500,1000 and a jump 2500,3500, in the second c'? 400,1000, and then 2500,3000,3500) although at the moment I don't know what function it has every single map.
switing63 I was seeing the address you specified and also having I a EDC16C39 I did a check..
I saw that in my car (Alfa 147 1.9 JTDM 120cv) bought used and purchased from the little I have values rise, while the file ORI is practically everything to 0 on those addresses.
It is normal for default(ORI) are so, or something has changed in my nasona? ..or, still worse, I have a file ORI defecaceo?!
Thanks
Hello, sorry if I answer only now but I was on vacation. Unfortunately you do not say, I think the ecu is the same, but obviously the software version is different to where the same address do not match the same maps, and then I think that is normal that you may have different values.
I can confirm that it is a matter of the SW, since I now have a aggioramento to the 722, and change the codes in the ecu.
Thanks for the reply

you have updates on the map? also I'm up for banging the head but I don't understand the function logic..
