Hello king guys. As the title one of you already? did do the update for the k-tag chinese . you have already made? some experiences?

Today arrived the ktag chinese. A friend of mine has the BMW x6 3.0 d with an ECU EDC17 cp45 dde8. The ktag asks before removing the ECU to connect it with a suitable cable to the OBD. Why should you do and what happens if the read request of the ID with the obdii cable?
