Hi, searching a bit on the internet I read that the kess ? the best interface for reading/writing of eprom. For someone who has, what are the pros and cons? The cost of quant?? Automatically performs the checksum of the mod file when writing? I have a punto gt 1.3 multijet 70cv, which interface would you recommend for me?

When you buy a interface clone as I have done, often do not have the possibility to do the virtual read because it is not equipped with the appropriate database of the original files.
The virtual read is made to speed up the reading in itself because in some cases it can take up to 45 minutes if not an hour. Instead, if you are a database, the interface after having recognized the files contained in the ecu, it goes to extrapolate directly in the database in a few seconds.
That said, you will understand why I am interested!

the virtual read is made on those ecu where not ? can do a real reading from the obd but only the writing, in those cases, if you don't have the file in the database or you get on the web, or you have to read most of the times in boot mode or jtag by opening the ecu.
